Girls 2020-21 Fusion COMPETE Tryout combine
2:00pm - 7:00pm

The Ottawa Fusion Volleyball Club will be holding a Tryout combine on Saturday September 19th. In partnership with Sport Science Physio Labs, we are excited to use cutting edge technology to evaluate athletes competing for spots on our COMPETE teams. The process will measure various data points around physical attributes, athleticism, along with specific capacities linked to performing volleyball specific skills. This assessment will not include on court skill evaluations where coaches evaluate athletes through a subjective eye. Instead we are excited to be able to provide a more objective evaluation that is linked to capacities needed to learn and develop volleyball skills at an elite level. Our club has many of the top coaches our country has to offer. We are confident that by selecting the strongest athletes, our coaches will be able to transfer that athleticism into high performing volleyball players.

HOW TO DRESS:
Athletes should come with the appropriate footwear and clothing in which they can perform physical challenges in.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Signed OVA Registration Form
  Click Here
• A water bottle (With water)
• Face mask (to wear during screening and when transitioning from test station to test station)
• If required, inhaler or Epi-Pen

START TIME

• Athletes will be notified by email of their official start time on September 17th.

DURATION OF TESTING TIME

• It is expected that each athlete will be completed their testing 45-60 minutes from their provided Start time.
